TEXPEX (Texas Philatelic Exhibition) is an annual stamp show presented in North Texas as a part of the American Philatelic Society's World Series of Philately. The show first qualified to be a part of the prestigious World Series in 1988. The grand winner of the open class exhibition qualifies for the Champion of Champions exhibition that culminates the season each August at the APS StampShow. TEXPEX was held in various Texas cities before settling in the Dallas area in the early 1990s. It serves as the annual meeting for the Texas Philatelic Association that was founded in 1896 and other national philatelic specialty groups.
